Great Features!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a month ago and I am so happy that I did. There are so many features that help me feel safe everyday when I leave the house. I love the way that you can talk to people in real time, check live feed, the video, and the quality. I also love the fact that it is hard wired. All in all we are very pleased with this product.

Easy to use and install

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the Energizer connect smart doorbell with wireless chime and it gives great notifications and good video and sound. I like that I am able to speak to whoever is at the door. Follow the instructions! It will not work on Wi-Fi settings higher than the recommended 2.4 GHz.

Decent Wired Doorbell

The biggest issue that I see with this is that it requires an existing wired doorbell. With all the doorbells out there, it would really stand apart from the competition if it had the ability to run off battery.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Honestly it's not anything special and for the price I would expect at least better range and Visibility. I do like that it's got the expandable memory but for a little more you could get a much better quality device.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Almost perfect.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I want to start this review by mentioning that I have a set of 5 Arlo cameras at my home, and 3 Wyze cameras. So I'm not completely inexperienced with this stuff.
The Energizer camera has lots of potential, which is why I give it 4 stars. The software is nowhere near as polished as Arlo or Wyze. And the video quality is not as good either. Installation was simple. This was my first doorbell camera, so I can't compare it to Ring or other brands. And connecting to my network went without a hitch.
I haven't tried using it with Google Assistant or Alexa, but to be fair, I don't even use that functionality on my other cameras.
Overall, solid product for a 1st version from Energizer (I don't think they've made a camera before this). And I look forward to seeing how they improve this product through software updates.

Love the technology

For this camera specifically the quality of video is good. And overall works really well. The one key thing I don’t like about it is I can’t remove the label that says Energizer on the front of it - it looks tacky to me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thought we'd try a simpler video doorbell, this was not the simple install we were looking for. Ended up having someone come install it. We had to order an micro SD card but unlike most does not need to be hooked up to a computer. The picture is great but the choice in chimes is very limited and not very good. We are looking for something to download as an option. Overall not bad for the price.
