[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been wanting a video smart doorbell after seeing the pictures they've been able to capture and for general safety. Once I had a few items "disappear" I got on the bandwagon of video doorbells and hooked this one up. Installing the actual doorbell was pretty simple. But, getting the software part figured out was difficult. I still can't get a proper connection on my iphone. Now, I'm not tech savvy but in the meantime, we hooked another brand up and there weren't the same problems. I'm moving this to my work property and hope to get the app to work correctly, because the picture does seem to be good.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Energizer Connect Smart Video Doorbell with Wireless Chime is great! I really like this smart doorbell, it works great! I found it very easy to install and set up. I just simply followed the instructions that were included with the doorbell. I like the colors of this doorbell, it goes very well and kind of blends into the colors of my house. I haven't had any issues and it's been working great! The quality is good. I would recommend this if you are looking for one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had been looking into getting a new doorbell for the home. My doorbell at the time was very low and could not hear it in my bedroom or towards the back of the house. And I was so excited to really update to a wireless video doorbell.
So I came across this Energizer Connect Smart Video Doorbell with Wireless Chime. I automatically was intrigued because it's Energizer and they always have quality products.
It was easy to setup, as long as you have a current doorbell, this new one would automatically take its spot. I like that it was quick and easy setup, connect the usb. Connected to house wifi and boom, easy. It has great features, having video is a huge difference and a big plus. And being able to talk with the person at the door is awesome. My kids have way too much fun with it. I do recommend upgrading your home doorbell, be able to see who comes to your home, drop off packages or your kids having fun talking through the video.

Nice Camera; Bad App

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Energizer Connect Smart Doorbell is a bit disappointing. I was excited to hook it up and compare it to the other big name doorbells out there. Installation was straightforward as it was pretty much just swapping wires at the doorbell button site and a little more work at the doorbell but easy if following the instructions. Setting up and connecting the doorbell to the app was easy. Using it, however, is a different story. The basic functions work well; watching live video, taking pictures/video onto your device, getting doorbell notifications. The secondary functions is where this app falls apart. There are only low, medium and high sensitivity setting for motion notifications and they have big gaps in between which leads to no notification upon movement or constant notifications when the wind blows nearby plants or a car drives by at night (100 feet away on the road). Trying to watch video playback is clumsy and frustrating as the only way to skip around is a timeline slide bar that is overly touchy and hard to set to a specific time. There is no fast forward or speed setting to allow you to watch the entire video while looking for an event so it leaves you jumping from one time to another while buffering in between. In addition to that, while watching playback video the marker on the timeline doesn't keep up with the time on the video, making it harder to keep track of event times. When in "event recording" mode, where video is only recorded when motion is sensed, the video just skips ahead from one to the other without showing a break in time or the timeline marker reflecting a change. I am really disappointed with the state of the app at this point but hope they fix these issues with future updates. Like I said earlier, the hardware works well but it is definitely lacking in the software department.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I never thought I would like a smart doorbell, but boy was I wrong. This is a great product. Easy install, great features. I love that it connects to my phone and I can easily see who's at my door, and talk to them too. This is the future and what a great price point to get such an awesome piece of technology.

We’ve had some recent break-ins in the neighborhood has given me peace of mind. This was incredibly easy to install and the apps was Easy to use. I’d highly recommend this.

Awesome video doorbell!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this just before the rush of the holidays came in, which included tons of packages. As a blogger, and someone who just recieves lots of packages in general, this was a sanity saver this holiday season. Knowing that even when I was away from home, I could see when something was delivered, and also if anyone was attempting to take anything, made things a lot smoother. I also like that when I am home alone with my kids, and someone I am unfamiliar with comes to the door, I don't have to open the door to speak to them. This truly is a great video doorbell, and it wasn't hard to install at all. It did have to be connected to the regular doorbell wiring, but that was easy for my husband. I also really liked that it is alexa dn google voice enabled!
I would recommend this to a friend!
