Awesome case. 200% upgrade from Quadlock.
Yes, it’s marketed as a rugged case but you still need to use a good quality screen protector and recommend using a metal camera bump cover that sticks to the iPhone 17promax. Overall love this case. Buttons and feel are great. Only thing I would change is I would like a 100% rubber texturized back just like what’s on the sides instead of the smooth backing.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Remaining a big fan of Peak Design

I’ve been using peak design, phone case cases and attachment system systems for my mountain bike for years. I recently got an upgraded phone and of course had to upgrade my case. There was never a doubt I was going get something from peak. True to form this is an amazing case in seamlessly works with all my existing accessories from peak I’m a very happy customer of this brand. I will say the MagSafe on this phone case is very strong compared to other cases and the phone with no case. That would the physical attachment system gives me peace of mind when mountain biking.

GNAR Case is a great upgrade

I was a bit hesitant to buy this case as so many reviews indicate the protection on the screen edge was nonexistent. But I love all my Peak Design cases and mounts thus far. So I took a chance and got one. This fits my iPhone and 17 ProMax like a glove. While the screen edge lip is minimal with my thick screen protector in place, there is still room that my screen does not touch when laying face down. The Mag Charger works great and the mounting on my bike is perfect as always. There is a hairline above the forward camera that the phone color shows; however, it appears this coincides with the speaker notch in the iPhone.

2.5/5 which is a bummer because I own dozens of peak products and this is the first I’d give fewer than 5 stars. I’d think most people put a screen protector on their phones but the nonexistent lip makes that non functional. Otherwise feels great in hand
