Volume Buttons Warp Case?

I got the kelp one for my orange 17 Pro Max. The lip feels a bit weird with a screen protector but my main issue is that the case doesn't sit uniformly around the frame. Near the volume buttons, no matter how I try to insert my phone, the perimeter of the case sits further from the edge of the phone in this spot.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Overall decent, has a few flaws

Pretty good case overall! Mount implementations works well with my peak handlebar mount. Build quality has held up well. My biggest gripe is the front of the case doesn’t stick out enough/isn’t as firm as it should, so whenever the phone falls face down its almost a guaranteed screen protector replacement needed. Luckily my screen has been fine underneath, but we’re on screen protector 3 in 4 months. My old iPhone 13 w/ the standard case and a glass screen protector only ever broke one protector in ~4 years.

I’m very happy with my Gnar Case. The screen lip provides plenty of protection so not sure what other users were complaining about. The sage looks awesome with the orange iPhone 17 pro!

Just bad

I have so many great Peak Design products, but this case is really that bad! After just two weeks of use, my screen protector is completely shattered. As many others have already pointed out here, the front edge is simply far too low and doesn’t protect the display at all. I love the bike mount, but now I have to go back to the competition because the cases are just bad. Please redesign the cases!

Make the camera lip protection better and put a loop on it, then it would be five stars. Can't believe how PD dropped the ball this.

Very stylish and very functional. I think the level of protection is just about perfect. I don’t love the USB-C cover, it’s a little hard to manipulate with fat fingers, but I appreciate that it’s there.

No lip for screen protection.

I got the GNAR case for my new iPhone 17 Pro but there's almost no lip for the screen. Putting a screen protector on it only makes it worse as it sticks out even more. And sure enough, less than a week later, the screen protector chipped in one corner.
There really needs to be a version 2 of this case with better screen protection.
