I've had multiple cases over multiple different iphones. 1990s field rugged feels smooth feels complete and looks high quality. Quality. I get many compliments on this case.
Case does nearly everything I want out of a case, and is a slight improvement over my previous case for an older phone.
If I could make one suggestion. The camera cutout area has ribbed edges. I feel like that would make it feasible to create some sort of rubber or plastic covering for the camera that would use the ribbed edges as a grasping point. Maybe something to think about in a future iteration as I think that would help justify the premium price.
Don’t get me wrong, Peak Design makes some of the sexiest accessories on the planet. But oh how I wish the Everyday Case for my iPhone 16 Pro would work as seamlessly and smoothly with my PD full-size tripod. If you’re not working on it already, please make an adapter so I can use MagSafe to attach my phone to my tripod! The case itself is great. It’s very slim, but I can vouch for its toughness after dropping my phone a couple of times, with no damage. The plum color is really different. I like how it stands out compared to other cases. Keep up the good work, Peak Design!
I got this case for my iPhone 16 Pro Max and love it. Now acquiring the whole system of mounts and accessories. The quality - design and engineering is superior to anything on the market. If you want the best for your phone then go with Peak Design. Enjoy !!
The Everyday Peak Design Case is a disappointment, primarily due to its handling of the iPhone 16 Pro Max’s capacitive button. Instead of integrating tactile buttons, the case merely provides a cutout, which is visible in the product images but far more problematic in real use than expected.
The absence of an actual button insert makes the capacitive button significantly less responsive, resulting in a frustrating and inconsistent user experience. For a case that’s otherwise well-crafted and aimed at enhancing daily functionality, this design choice feels like a glaring oversight.
While the case offers decent protection and a sleek aesthetic, the poor usability of such a crucial feature severely undermines its value. I regret purchasing this case and would caution others to think twice if they prioritize smooth interaction with their device.
Peak Design’s attention to quality is usually commendable, but this feels like a case of prioritizing form over function—and it doesn’t work.
