The additional security offered by the cuff makes me feel much more confident handling my Nikon Z5II. I slip the rope over my wrist as I pull the camera from its bag, knowing that I'm not going to have any catastrophic accident. Similarly, I can use the camera while wearing woolen gloves. The rope is smooth, flexible and unobtrusive. Highly recommend.
I am a huge fan of your wrist straps and the addition of the rope strap is long overdue. All that here is what I am really longing for and I'm hoping you guys can make it happen. I would love a smaller version of your wrist strap for point and shoot style cameras as the current strap is way to large for cameras like a Ricoh GrIV or an Olympus stylus. Huge fan please keep up the good work!! all the best.
Big improvement in usability over the original cuff. The only thing this does not do better is stay on your wrist when no camera is attached. That was an innovative feature of the original cuff. Still, my originally cuff has been relegated to the 'old camera parts' bin and will likely never be touched again. The rope version is more comfortable and adjusts faster and easier.
It's a bit too long for a wrist strap in my opinion. Very weird to use when you don't want to be holding the camera as it would be dangling dangerously low. The quality is good though.
Received for a holiday gift. The diameter of the rope makes for easy handling and confident holding with Sony α7iii. Materials seem to be high quality, time will tell. I already had the quick release anchor links on the body, thankfully. If I recall correctly those anchors were pretty tough to install; glad I don't have to do so again.
I have always used the Peak Design wrist straps or straps compatible with the Peak Design system. I appreciate the security of having my camera tethered to my wrist. I find the new rope design to be more comfortable than my other wrist straps. For me, I use the strap when I’m shooting with my camera, when I’m not shooting, I take the strap off and store the camera in a shoulder bag. I imagine this strap may not suit everyone’s style but for me it works great!
