The cartridges are designed to evaporate rapidly and they do. They cost a huge amount. I am buying a laser printer because the cartridge design limits evaporation better. It is cheaper to buy fine perfume than this ink.

I decided to save some money and buy refilled cartridges for my printer. What a mistake!! I am an artist and print a lot of my artwork. The colors were not even close to true color. I will never buy anything but HP ink cartridges again.
