Even though everyone tells me its far too expensive to use my OfficeJet to print art, I have not found that so -- I get a lot of full-color pages out of each pair of ink cartridges. But there must have been a change in the ink formula or something -- the last 2 cartridges I've bought have given what's supposed to be a pure bright red a brownish tint.

Tried the cheapies, which were not all that cheap, very inferior. Then tried the Hp and was amazed at the difference in quality. I will not make that mistake again. It is HP for me from now on.

a real hp cartridge, then when it said, CARTRIDGE DOSE NOT WORK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I TOOK IT OUT AND PUT IN A OLD CARTRIDGE, THAT WORKED,

Hi, sorry to hear you are experiencing an issue with your HP 61 Tri-color Ink Cartridge. If you suspect you have received a non-original cartridge, please contact the seller. To resolve the issue, you can try cleaning the electrical contacts as shown in Step 3 http://hp.care/2qsfLG1. If this doesn’t resolve the error please contact the seller for a replacement. Otherwise, contact HP Support for a replacement http://hp.care/2nbNQFi Note most printers in this product range can operate in single cartridge mode (i.e.: remove the black and operate with just the tricolor cartridge)
