Weakest AC unit for studios

Doesn’t work. Had one in my studio and it blew warm air, got it replaced and still blew warm air. Replaced it AGAIN, with a higher BTU (10k) and it blows cold air but only for a couple moments then you hear some click before it “turns off” and blows room temperature air at you. Doesn’t cool AT ALL, it’s always hot. Very disappointed. Wish there was a way the landlord could just take it all away.

Great Unit!

Great window unit that kicks out some cooooollllldddddd air! Took a minute to put this puppy up because it comes with a different backside that requires you to mount the back end grill and it’s a little more complicated than a normal plug and play ac. Here in Montana the summers can get hot and even for us we like our bedroom to be a nice 60 degrees when sleeping. With this in our dinning room we feel it across into the bedroom. Highly recommend this for any family wanting to cool a small - medium size space.

Great Unit!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Although we’re so far north in Montana you would never think it would get hot enough to warrant an AC of any kind! However if you’re anything like our house we like to stay cold morning noon and night! This unit is perfect to maintain that 60 degrees sleeping temper needed for those summer nights. It maintains 10k BTU and cools up to 450 sqft. It takes a bit of an effort to get this set up but just follow the instructions and you’re good to go!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very impressed with this little wall unit ac. I'm using it and my small office and it keeps the temperature perfect on these hot summer days. I said it to 72 it cools to 72 quickly and stays cool for the day. It is not that loud at all it works great and I am happy with the way that this little AC unit performs. I wish I would have gotten one sooner

It is not in a wall because my husband isn't here to help me (Its heavy :) Although I have it running on the ground it is quiet, which is good. I am looking forward to the energy-saving mode making a noticeable difference in my electric bill.

Looks Good, But Poor Drainage Causes Odor, Mold, and Rust

While the unit has a sleek design and the concept of using the fan to spray water on the condenser to improve efficiency is smart, it has a serious flaw: it doesn’t drain properly.
Over time, water builds up inside and doesn’t fully evaporate. This leads to: • A strong “dirty sock” smell • Mold growth • Rust on internal components
Worse, the manufacturer advises not to drill a hole to help with drainage — but provides no other way to remove the stagnant water. This leaves the user with no good solution.
A simple fix would be to include a removable drain plug, a tray, or a hose port, so users can empty excess water safely and easily. Until then, you’re stuck with a unit that looks great but smells awful and degrades over time.
