It blends amazingly... so great for making smoothies ... my husband and I have much more healthy breakfasts because of this .. but one needs to be really cautious to tighten the lid otherwise there will be spills that you can't see and that will seep into the machine

Yes, this is a great little blender! Makes a perfect 'smoothy' in no time at all. It is very effective at pulverizing frozen fruits and ice along with any powders you add to make a great breakfast or after-exercise drink.
