I bought a nutri bullet because my husband has diabetes, heart problems and ulcers. The machine grinds everything fine - but it all turns to foam. This morning I made him a banana strawberry protein shake - but it doubled in size because of the foam. Neither of us likes to drink foam.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Sometimes the holding container locks into the unit and its difficult to remove the unit. The blades are not sharp enough. The O-rubber ring contentiously drops out of the Unit which causes the liquid to spill.

This is the second one that I have bought and it works well. Sometimes it was a little difficult to twist to turn on and that is why I bought the latest Nutribullet that turns on automatically and makes soup, which I love!

I do love the power of this, however I do not like the size of the containers. They are wide and difficult to get a good grip to open it. The previous ones could fit in my cup holders in the car, so even though it's equipped to make a smoothie to go, I have to dirty another container.

I've had this for a year now and absolutely love it! I use it almost every day to make smoothies in the morning. It is so quick to blend and I love that you are using the same cup to mix and enjoy (bonus - less dishes to clean!). The one issue I have is with the sports cup lid. The tab broke on it pretty quickly so I have to be extra careful when bringing it to work that the top doesn't get caught on anything, open, and spill.

I purchased this in hope of having things blend up smoother than my cooks single serve blender. In all honesty, it does a BIT better ~ and the cooks was 1/2 the price.
It is a very nice machine though, just very pricey.
I also had where it wasn't working the best and had to email to find out why and they did inform me how spillage can get in the tiny white areas that you push the cup onto. Once I cleaned that out, which isn't easy, it is back to turning on and off properly, so that's good!
