Bought mainly to do smoothies. Crushes ice and frozen fruit adequately. I do notice that sometimes protein powder lumps but not a big issue. Dad not real like others though you DO have to screw the blade lid on TIGHT and it is easy to get crossthreaded.

This is a very well designed product with one exception. It really needs a variable timer that shuts the NutriBullet off.
