I have owned many HP Poly Legend 5200s and when they stopped working with my iPhone, I tried the Poly Legend 50. It’s really efficient in the areas it works however there are features that it does not have that the 5200 did have which I miss a great deal. For instance, it does not announce callers’ names when they call and you can’t press redial to call the last number. The charging case works great and overall, the device holds a charge well. I missed the features from the 5200 a great deal. Apparently not all available for iOS.

HP Poly Legend 50 is the new and improved HP Poly Plantronics Voyager 5200. The 5200 had two large weaknesses: (1.) 6-hour battery life, and (2.) the spotty reliability of the charging case. Both problems SOLVED, noting especially the 10-hour battery life that will get you through an entire day of use. Together with the best interoperability with everything from phone functions to media playback control on the market (and I have owned 1 or 2 of the look-alike competitors, as well as the older '5200), the HP Poly Plantronics Voyager 5200 is the best BT earpiece of its kind on the planet.
doesn't have the functionality that the voyager legend had (redial, speaking "answer" to pick up calls is not as effective either. Not happy, especially wiht the big increase in cost
Have used poly's for years. I work outside and on the phone alot so they usually last maybe a year. This one seemed different from the start. When i heard HP had bought poly i hoped they would start upgrading these and they did and all for the better. Upgraded charging case, C plugs, longer battery time....
