Replaces my Fold 4, which broke for the 2nd time - but I don't think I can live without a folding phone anymore, so I'm sure the Fold 7 has improved the hinge, which is the common point of failure. Repair is usually to get a new screen for about $700.
This Fold 7 is thinner, lighter, sleeker, bigger screens, better cameras, and carries on from the Fold 4. Otter case is ordered; phone is so slippery without a case, it's difficult to hold on to. Fingerprint/Power Button is more difficult to feel by touch than the Fold 4. Other than that, I think its a great phone. Lucky my old phone broke a week before Black Friday so I saved $300.
