I was really surprised at how heavy duty this was. I got it because it was a good price and a good size. the latches are nice sturdy metal, and has good drainage spout. I have not used this yet, but looks like it's going to work out just fine.

Very Disappointed

I truly thought that this would be a great addition for hurricane preps in south Florida. WRONG! I tested this cooler inside my house in 70* AC. 30 lbs of ice and 20 hours later, all the ice was melted and I was left with a cooler full of cold water. I would have expected more from this cooler since it says it keeps ice for 5 days. I’m thankful that I tested it prior to needing it. Very disappointed with this product!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We are so sorry to hear your cooler did not retain ice as expected. For optimal ice retention, we recommend pre-chilling your cooler and its contents, as well as using large blocks of ice or frozen water bottles!
