Classic JBL sound in a budget headset
on April 25, 2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The JBL Tyne 135 BT is a practical budget-friendly neckband headset that gets the basics right. I love the JBL Pure Bass sound, which makes music enjoyable for every day listening, especially at this price point. I chose the Stephen Wilson remix of Lament by Ultravox and it sounded fantastic! Clear punchy bass where it needs it and tight sound all around. Battery life is really good, and fast charge support makes these easy to use all day. Multipoint Bluetooth and the in-line remote added convenience, especially for me when I was switching between work calls and listening to music.
All that said, there are limitations. The Tune 135 BT has a budget build to go along with the budget price, with plastic that just doesn’t feel premium. Microphone quality is fine for casual calls, but not standout. The fit, at least for me, was just OK. Noise isolation in my case was meh, with occasional sound leakage, but that could be the shape of my ears. Foam eartips, if and when they become available, may help here. One thing to note: the Tune 135 BT does not have active noise cancellation, but once again you’re not paying the price of other premium JBL models. Also, JBL has chosen not to include a charging cable, whether that’s to keep the price down or because we probably all have dozens of these things strewn in our junk drawers, who knows? Just something to be aware of.
Overall, I see the JBL Tune 135 BT as good value if you want strong battery life, classic JBL bass sound, and simple everyday features. I like these better than some of JBL‘s other budget headsets, and in my opinion, the sound is well ahead of competitors at the same price point. Just recognize your trading off premium feel, ANC, and top-tier call quality.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are really great headphones. They are extremely easy to set up to use with your phone. I never have problems connecting to my phone they are very reliable. Sound is excellent like most JBL products I've tried. I use these when I travel and are great when I make social media videos. The controls in the wire hanging from the earbud are intuitive and easy to find. The only thing I would not recommend is using these during high intensity exercises because the weight of the wire hanging from the earbuds pulls the earbuds out of your ear. Low intensity exercise such as walking outside has been great. The buttons are robust, have pleasant click feel, and are well made. Doesn't feel cheap feels nice and durable.

Good battery life.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using the JBL Tune 135BT for a while now, and overall they've been a really solid pair of wireless earbuds. The standout feature for me is the battery life. I can go multiple days of regular use without charging them. When i do charge them it's quick. Sound quality is great for the price, with clear audio and solid bass that make calls and audio enjoyable. The only downside I've noticed is when you try to just use one yearbud at a time. Beacuse of the neckband design, the other side tends to pull or shift, so it doesn't sit as comfortably and can feel like it might fall off. It's not a dealbreaker but it's something to keep in mind if you prefer single ear use. Overall they are a great value earphones

Surprising performance and fit!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These earbuds were surprising. The design is based in simple, yet very functional. They hook up right up to the JBL headphone app seamlessly or you can customize some settings. The sound was surprisingly good for what they are and with the smallest ear tips, they fit my ears surprisingly well. While wearing them at the gym, I did not have any issues with them trying to fall out of my ears, and with the voice aware feature during the phone calls. I didn’t feel like I was yelling. Overall, they say they last 24 hours for battery life I think it could be more or less than it and how loud you have them set to bottom lines are a great value.

Never worried about losing an earbud is underrated

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] They're lightweight The way they wrap around your neck with its matte silicone makes it stay in place. Sound is great out of the box and even better once you EQ it using JBL headphones app. I havent used the mic much but the audio quality is up to par with a lot of hi res headphones ive heard. The ear tips provide good grip in your ears and they wont fall out like airpods tend to sometimes. Also harder to lose and never gonna lose one earbud so that's a win!

Solid workhorse earbuds

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] JBL has a knack for compact quality. I'm primarily an over-the-ear guy, but when space is a premium, these are great to travel with. They're very comfy in the ears! I need to have tv or a movie on while I fall asleep, and recently used these when I had to share a hotel room. Much easier to fall asleep in than my big headphones.
I enjoy the tether. I can't even count how many times I've lost or dropped wireless earbuds. The controls are great to have! Easy, intuitive form factor.
The cons: I wish the left/right marking was clearer, but no big deal. Sound is great, but if you're used to big sound, this'll get it most of the way there, but I'm not giving up the big guys yet.
4/5 stars, great value , very good define, and wicked
convenience.

Strong value for the price!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Right away with stands out is the sound. I’ve always known JBL for their bass and these definitely deliver. Battery life was a huge point for me with over 25 hours. These are right up there with higher end earbuds. The neck band design is simple and functional. I like how it hangs on the neck this way you don’t have to worry about losing a earbud as we all do at the gym. It’s great for workouts. I do like the fact that the lightweight and are easy to wear for long periods of time. If you aren’t looking for noise canceling, unfortunately, these may not be for you primarily because they don’t block out noise in a loud environment like the gym. Overall, the JBL 135 BT’s deliver Strong value for the price. If you’re looking for a formal wireless earbuds with great battery life these are the ones for you.
