Does the job but could be better

It’s hard to get the lid off - and if the kettle is hot, it can hurt if you take the lid off while it’s hot (which happens to me often because I will forget to put enough water in). Also, it’s quite loud when it boils, which surprised me. It looks great tho!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We have only known Clyde for a few weeks but we love him. He never makes us wait long and is always reliable! Who knew preparing hot water for tea could be so much fun!

Great color and works well

The color perfectly matched the website and I was so happy to add it to my countertop. It works really well and I appreciate the up-to-date look it gives my kitchen. I deducted a star for the lack of an audible sound when the water is boiling. Other than that I would definitely recommend.

Great Pour Over Kettle

I bought the matte black Stagg EKG and it looks great on my coffee bar, plus it works like a charm. Water heats to 205° quickly and holds the heat when you set it down for the bloom. Very happy with my purchase.

Works great. Only “issue” is I wish the base were the same as the stag kettles. We have both and would be nice if only one base was plugged in.

Functional Good Looks

I've used it for a solid week now. Works perfectly and looks great. We replaced our stove top kettle and save 5 minutes each day.
I hope long term that the handle material is durable and I do wish the handle could pivot for easy filling, but those are just wishes if I'm being nit picky.
So far, I love it!
