HORRIBLE END USER FRIENDLINESS

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It allows only y one second to enter the cook time before defaulting to the power mode. When my disabled sister wishes to cook something for 5 minutes, after pushing the “Time/Power” button, this oven allows only one second to push the number “5” before defaulting to the power mode. UTTERLY RIDICULOUS!!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Quality Countertop Microwave

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This microwave is reasonably quiet and has the perfect selection features for easy use on a variety of foods place in it. The price was higher than most typical countertop microwaves, but it is made heavier (metal) and with much more durability than the cheap plastic ones

Good product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this one in Nov, used for about 2 months, everything is fine, the only problem is the control button. After only two months, the cover on the stop and start It's already like this after only two months of use. I wonder how worn it will look after a year or two.

Very poor quality control of Kitchaid Microwave

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Original microwave was missing the microwave inlet cover (found in the packing material after using the microwave for several days). Took 3 more tries to get a unit that was acceptable (but still had a dent on one side). The first 3 microwaves all had misaligned doors, and all 4 had dents on the side. Usage for manual cooking doesn't work as the Use Guide indicates - always requires 2 pushes of the start button vs. 1. Helped a friend with a GE microwave that was half the price and it was in perfect condition and worked as expected. If we weren't constrained by cutout size there is no way we would order another premium priced Kitchenaid applicance.
The one positive is that we kept getting more units to evaluate - shipped to our house.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It's a microwave that works.

The original microwave was a bit larger in the interior, than this newer model. This model is not as user friendly as the model before.....
