Helpful, but diminishes charger resulting notification to use the original charger. Most features should be part of the notebook itself.

No matter how many plugs a device has, there is always a need for another one. So true with this hub. Notice it didn't advertise that it has a S-video plug, but it does. Also that it has several USB-C plugs which work quite well for all occasions. Now if there would be a plug for the monitor?

The HP USB-C Travel Hub G3 has been working perfectly. With a smaller laptop (14") I was in need to have more port capability including HDMI. The travel hub fit the bill. If you do not have a need for many usb ports, the travel version is perfect.
