[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This popper works pretty good. Use a tall bowl or hold it up closer to the chute otherwise you will lose a good amount of shooting popcorn. The corn comes out good but sprays a little wild. The butter melter is convenient but is very hot when warm.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are huge popcorn lovers. We tend to make it in an old pot. This makes cooking so much easier. Clean up is so much quicker than our old way. I really did like the little recipe book that came with it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Everyone's mom had one of these things in the 80s. Now you can too! My kids had never seen one of these things and they were fascinated by it. As far as function, it's easy to set up and use, no need for oil. There's a handy removable cup on the top for measuring out the kernels and then you can melt butter in it while the popcorn pops. The top pops off for easy cleaning. Recommended!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I picked this popcorn maker because it’s super cute, but also it’s a great popcorn maker! It heats up fast and makes the perfect popped kernel in a few minutes. Some of the things I love about it are the one and off switch, it heats up fast, and doesn’t leave many kernels left un popped!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This popcorn machine is so easy to use and clean up afterwards. It pops pretty fast and makes a decent amount of popcorn. I love the color. It is small and doesn’t take much room in the cabinet or on the shelf. The popcorn taste better than in the microwave and quick.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This popcorn maker is best for bigger than single-serve batches of popcorn. Not for single serve - ok, depends on what your 'single serve' is defined as, but if you're looking to make a diet size batch - then this is not the popcorn maker for you - you're better off with the microwaveable bags. The kennels do tend to jump out everywhere - we had to make some provisions - like making a guided path for the popcorn to the bowl with some cleverly shaped aluminum foil to reduce the 'mess'. The popping everywhere, missing the bowl, is an issue but not a big one - it's just how the kernels behave, I guess. Overall, we are satisfied with this popcorn maker, we had one similar when I was younger - we'd catch the fly aways while they're popping. Children (and some adults), will need assistance in using this device - it's not difficult to use, but in the wrong hands you can end up with popcorn everywhere, also it can get hot. For a better pop, you need to make a good sized batch, else with less kernels, you'll end up with unpopped kernels shooting out of the popcorn maker.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a Dash Fresh Pop Popcorn Maker through TryItSampling to give my honest opinion about it. First of all I filled the measuring cup up like it said to do and it got hot and just started blowing out kernels. Then started popping the kernels and I had a big bowl under the spout but the popcorn was still flying everywhere making for a big mess. All the kernels didn’t pop because it started burning them only after about 3.5 minutes. The popcorn was very dry and bland. I put salt and butter on it but that didn’t help.
