It works! It always leaves about 5-8 kernels unpopped but this way of cooking uses zero oil :)

great popper for larger kernel popcorn

The popper does a great job with larger kernels but seems to eject small kernels like ladyfinger popcorn quite readily. we are working on solutions for the smaller stuff, like tilting it back slightly - which helps some. Other than that, it does a great job.
