I am very unhappy with this popcorn maker. it shoots popcorn everywhere, is extremely loud, and doesn't pop the kernels well. i ended up with popcorn kernels all over the floor, on my counters, etc. and the top does not melt the butter like it is supposed to. i really am not happy with this. i'd send it back if i could.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello! We are sorry for your experience with the Dash Fresh Pop Popcorn Maker. We recommend placing a large bowl under the spout so the edge of the bowl is touching the body of the popcorn maker. We suggest using room temperature butter on the top for melting, and leave for a few additional minutes after the popping is complete to continue to melt.

Not only is this popcorn maker aesthetic, it is also easy to use and store. I have been looking for a good popcorn maker for a while now and am so happy I found this! The feature to melt butter as you are making the popcorn is genius and works very well. Look no further and get this if you want good popcorn!
