I try to buy multiples of this flavor but its not always available. Its popular because its a great tasting coffee and the peppermint comes through so nicely! Highly recommend!
I have found this to be one of the best peppermint mocha/bark coffees on the market. I like that it's a slightly lighter roast than others. It helps to balance all the flavors.
So I'm just going to leave my reviews still how I want to; I have an idea though: Looking for past personal reviews. I couldn't find a way to do that.
It's helpful to see what other people think about the various items/flavors, but what matters most is what you personally think about products you have tried in the past. I'm not sure how to look at my old reviews. And when trying to resubmit a review, I'm told I already reviewed it.
Actual review:
This coffee tastes meh. Tastes like bland coffee, hardly any peppermint flavor to it. I feel as though, those that want the peppermint flavor actually want it to taste like peppermint, and those that think its too peppermint-y, need to not try peppermint flavored things. I have tried this 4 times (4 pods) and my spouse has tried it 2 times (2 other pods), and the flavor is always weak and bland. It NEEDS MORE peppermint. I wouldn't be opposed to actually mix peppermint leaves with the coffee grounds like a coffee-tea, a cof-tea if you will. To actually bring the peppermint flavor to the front.
One thing I have noticed over the various flavors I do drink regularly, is that the quality control is not there. Each cup is always different. There have been days where I'm like "OMG! THIS IS THE BEST EVER!", and other days where I'm like "Why is this watery and flavorless?" - And sometimes it's not even "Different days", Some days if I get a bad pod right away I just toss it out and try again, and then its fixed. So I know its not the machine needing to be cleaned. It's simply the pod itself. - I also keep up with my machine per recommended.
That judgement is across the board out of all the flavors I have tried as stated, not just this one. I also ALWAYS brew my coffee/tea on strong, to the point where I wish "Strong" was the base option. (I have a K Elite.)
For now I will keep reviewing the items and will still search for an easier way to look at my old reviews so I can have them for future references.
