No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This compact air conditioner really packs a punch. For its compact size it pumps out ice cold air quickly and quietly. Easy to use controls and clearly marked buttons make operating it a breeze. Maneuvers smoothly on caster wheels to take to any room. Something like this is honestly life or death in the sweltering heat and knowing you can count on an air conditioner is peace of mind and safety. This really works well and is a quality item.

It is powerful and it cools the living room quick. it brings the remote and what is so cool about it is that ai can control with my phone. It is a 3 in 1 IT COOLS it is a dehumidifier and it ventilated the room. Not to mention is a voice control operable. LOVE IT!!!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was a bit concerned about the size based on the box, but is is not as large as I thought and is perfect for a medium/medium-large room. I plan to use this in my master bedroom, and I really like the convenience of the app and remote. Living in NC it is often quite hot and humid in the summer time and I am really looking forward to seeing how this unit performs in the midst of summer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband works with computers and his office is often extremely hot. We have tried window fans and they weren't enough so I was thrilled to get this air conditioner that was portable. We have a small window in the basement, where his office is, so we could not use a regular window air conditioner. The fixture for this portable air conditioner fits perfectly in the small window, and cool down his office more than enough. It was easy to assemble, but it is extremely heavy so might take two people to carry it up or down steps. The controls are very easy and self-explanatory and the window fitting easily adjusts by sliding back and forth in a track. I did however expect the air conditioner to be built out of a better quality of plastic, but because it is easy to move and it works great, I gave this a four-star review. I do love the fact that we can set this on a timer so that it doesn't run all night long if my husband forgets to turn it off. It's easy to program and can even connect to Wi-Fi.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is so worth it to have in my home! I got this not knowing how I would feel about having a portable air conditioner. It's great! The air conditioner puts off so much cold air in such a short amount of time. I love not having to have it sitting in the window also. Our old one used to drip sometimes, but now we won't have to worry about that anymore. The air conditioner also covers a large amount of area unlike our last one. I love that it is smart-compatible.

The previous owner had a vent set up already for a portable AC unit. Extremely easy set up, the app is easy to download and navigate fits in with the color of our exercise room. Highly recommend the TCL brand and the ease of set up. I can be on my bike and adjust the temp from my stationary bike when exercising. We love it!!
