I bought this table about month ago and I've been very happy with it. It was easy to assemble as long as you start from the table top down (as shown in the diagram) and NOT try to work from the bottom up (as I initially/clumsily tried, oops). It's got a decent sized top with enough room for 2 sets of plates, glasses, etc... This is a fairly tall table (45" from the ground) so make sure you have the stools to accommodate. I have mine by my kitchen window overlooking my yard. I love to sit, sip my morning coffee and enjoy watching the birds that come to my feeders, but I digress. It's a very pretty and sturdy table. Overall I think this is an excellent buy/value and I would definitely recommend whether you're in the restaurant business or just want a cool looking bistro table in your home.
The locking mechanism for the table top does not hold when you put the slightest amount of weight on it. You may want to recall as someone really could get hurt. Rather than return, I am working on my own fix.
have had tables for a month. put them together. like them although when you put your arm or lean on the table the latch lets go and the table folds down.
Great table however the instructions are terrible: tells you what parts are enclosed but no sequence of what and how to constructed......it took 2 hours to put together! If a person is not mechanically inclined the package instructions are not able to be useful for the purchaser.
Bought this table not for a reason most people would. It is actually used to assemble parts on. The folding top makes it easy to store and easy to carry in a vehicle . I actually cut the height down and welded the rod together ...wish there was an option for a shorter version. I will end up buying more of these since they work so well for my application. Very sturdy. Great appearance. Fast shipping. Very pleased.
