Works well - when it's not warm outside

Got the unit couple of days ago. It only charges when the sun isn't shining down and heating up the unit.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Over heating/ charging issues

Returning today but just bought a s22 brand new, in a semi warm car in Winnipeg. my phone shut itself down due to over heating the phone felt extremely hot and the charger even hotter do not recommend as heat will damage your battery for the long run

Bad charging port for this item

It's a good product the charging port on the back that crapy I thought it was the cord wondering why it's not charging its after you plug it in the back a few time it becomes lose and you charging cord falls out or not charging properly I replaced two cords that it was the cord its the port on the wireless cell phone charging stand

BEST MOUNT EVER!

Very amazing mount. It was better than I expected bc they dont write it up proper.
The one glitch (not enough to loose a star) is that dash mount is done by the disc w adhesive (not reuseable). Its not very flexible. It has to mount on an almost flat surface. In my Caravan I found an almost flat surface where all the curves meet. Worked great. Then the mount to that is NOT a suction cup, but rather a super sticky amazing reuseable flexible surface that needs a perfect smooth (but not flat) surface like window or supplied base. There is no swivel to the base, so to adjust you unstick the base and restick at proper angle. There are wing nut adjustments (2 hand needed; height and extension). These are important bc that dash adpter plate needs a flatish surface. Then there is lots of tilt and rotate adjustment on the phone holder (adjust while driving, one hand).
I do a lot of stop and start driving, so the phone is in and out of the cradle many times. The grab and release function is amazingly easy and convenient. The grab is automatic and the release is an easy squeeze release. This is so easy that I didnt buy the one up, electric grab option (just another thing to fail).
And auto charging, no cable to plug in.
