Samsung for the win again

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using my new Galaxy Watch 8 for some time and haven't been disappointed yet. I love the way that it looks. Very sleek and the band that it comes with is really soft and comfortable. Really cool feature that you can set it up for Left or right hand use. I opted for the one without the bezel but of course you have the option of using a "fake" bezel (swiping around it works like a bezel). Using the Galaxy AI (Gemini) has been very resourceful from getting a quick update of the weather to making a quick call. Quick responses also and very useful when you are in a pinch.

Pretty watch but not good for measuring exercise

I love that this watch is very light-weighted, I can easily wear it to sleep. The band is also very comfortable. However, this watch doesn't record my exercise well, especially during HIIT or hot yoga when I start to sweat. Watch 7 never had this issue. My watch 8 just keep stop measuring my heart rate; thus, the calories keep increasing automatically. I took the watch out several times during exercising to wipe it dry, but it doesn't help.

Great Wearable, But a Few Annoyances

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using the Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 for a little while now, and overall, it's a solid smartwatch. The design is a big plus—it's incredibly lightweight and sits flush on my wrist, so it's comfortable to wear all day without feeling bulky. I also really like the new watch band system; it's a huge improvement and makes swapping bands a breeze.
The watch is very responsive, and I've experienced no lag or delays when navigating through apps or notifications. The battery life is decent, getting me through about 24 hours on a full charge, which is pretty standard for a smartwatch. However, I do wish it charged a bit faster.
One of the biggest downsides for me has been using Google Gemini. It's often not very responsive, and my phone usually activates first when I try to wake it on the watch. It’s a minor frustration, but one I hope can be improved in future updates.
Despite a couple of small issues, the Galaxy Watch 8 is a great device and a definite upgrade.

Loving my new watch

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pre-ordered my 8 to supplement my 4, since I seem to have good luck with pre-ordered devices. My 8 has been working well and battery lasting for a day between charges. Like and am using the battery saving charge feature. The display and buttons seem larger than my 4. Like the new health features although unsure about some of the recommendations. Like the thinner profile and lighter weight. Have made some use of Gemini AI (Galaxy AI) and will more as time goes by. Good source for information when my phone isn't handy. Overall very happy with my purchase.
