Beautiful toaster with many options.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This toaster is beautiful out of the box. Completely stainless steel giving it a high end look. Functionality wise, it’s a toaster… But better. Has various settings that allow different functions (Toasting the cut side of a bagel, defrosting frozen bread, reheating, and toasting a little longer). You can also adjust the length of toasting time to get your bread or bagel just how you want it. Also, this thing is a breeze to clean. There are two slide out crumb trays on the bottom backside of the toaster. Overall the only thing I didn’t like about the toaster was the size. It is a fairly large toaster, so make sure that you have the counter space for it!

Get it, it's worth it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Yeah, I know what you're going to say, "dude, it's a toaster", but let me say this toaster is what you want! I've normally bought the low end toaster because, well, "it's a toaster", but kitchenaid has made me rethink that. The front is very legible, meaning the slide to determine the amount of toasting you want is obvious. I've struggled in the past on other models where you have a black knob with no obvious view to determine light to dark. My litmus test for toasters are bagles. If it toasts bagels evenly, then it's a great toaster. This one passed flawlessly. Put it on the second highest setting and push down. Bagel was toasted perfectly, no hot spots or uneven toast. "Chef's kiss".

Love This Toaster!

More importantly, it toasts my bread exactly how I like it. The bagel function works perfectly, giving me that ideal golden crunch every time.
Having four slots is a game-changer, especially during busy mornings when everyone wants toast at the same time. The manual high-lift lever makes grabbing smaller slices so much easier. Overall, this toaster has been a fantastic addition to my kitchen, and I couldn’t be happier with it!

The Kitchen Aide 4 Slice Toaster is very versatile. There are different settings you can choose depending on what bread you are using. The durability of Kitchen Aide is name brand you trust that will last for years. Cleaning is made easy for you. There is a pull out tray to catch all the bread crumbs so you can easily throw them away. Just wipe down the catch tray and dry it good and put it back it place. Get your toast or bread as brown as you want with the efficient lever on darkness. Safety is always important. Kitchen Aide 4 Slice Toaster will not work if the heating element inside is still too hot. So, there is no back to back toasting to rush things, but it does cool quickly. .

A little disappointing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I soooo wanted this toaster to actually toast English Muffins. But that's simply not the case regardless of any combination of browning settings and number of times dropped. I maxed out at 4 drops and then gave up. I prefer english muffins brown and crispy and this toaster only results in a tinge of brown around the edges and lukewarm after multiple drops. It wouldn't even melt butter. I have better results with bagels and bread where toasting was even and warm after one drop. The general functionality of the features appear to work as advertised. I'm just bummed that I have to change my favorite breakfast - or broil them in the oven.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The toaster works well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A toaster that actually toasts to the selected shade! I’ve used the toaster for toast, frozen waffles, bagels, and English muffins. I’ve used the “just a bit more” feature as well as the reheat feature. The frozen feature also works great. Another great feature? It doesn’t have a sound to signal the end of toasting cycle. The last toaster had a signal so loud it would wake people a floor above.
