great coffee every day

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great coffee machine, with many drink options, but itof water. I don't like the milk container as the cover is loose. You can't make more than 6.3 oz of milk for a latte macchiato.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would give it 5 stars if it were not for the high water consumption.

At last, a really great coffee machine!

We bought this about 2 months ago and absolutely love it! Best coffee machine we have ever had. Love that you can have several people's individual coffee favs. saved on the machine. Makes making a great coffee so easy. The frothed milk makes a lovely base for a hot chocolate with chocolate syrup too. Looks great on the countertop and the oblong shape means it doesn't take up too much room across the counter. Well worth the money. We bought an extra milk container as my husband, and I like different milk so we keep both the milk containers in the fridge so they are at 'the ready'.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Gourmet coffee without the gourmet price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This espresso machine is the coolest thing I've ever laid eyes on! There are multiple drink options pre-programmed. The recipe book is descriptive and well written. You can chose to use ground coffee or you can fill the hopper with whole beans and fresh ground coffee everytime you brew a beverage. The bottom tray collects the used "pucks" of coffee grounds and any excess fluid from rinsing or brewing. The cleaning options are "easy" or "complete". The milk container that connects to the dispensing head is a nice touch. I would totally recommend this machine for anyone who wants fancy coffee without paying the fancy price.

Amazingly easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow what a luxe item that's so easy to use. I've had the machine a month now and I'm thoroughly impressed. You load the machine with your choice of coffee bean and milk (which you store in a removable milk tank for easy storage in the fridge between uses) and fill with water then your drink of choice is ready to be made in minutes.
The machine will run a rinse cycle at start up and then you have multiple choices for drink options. At the end of use you run another rinse before turning the machine off. It also comes with other cleaning modes for more thorough cleaning.
Kitchenaid included a small recipe book which I really appreciated. Pictured is an one of the recipes included. The basic latte machiatto is my favorite so far, I add a little brown sugar in the cup before brewing and it's ready within minutes. You can save some of your favorite drinks for ease of access. You can select how many shots you'd like in your drink, the size, and temperature. Customization is a strong point of this product.
The machine itself isn't wildly large. It sits nicely on the counter while taking up a small amount of space; it's worth it. It's sleek and modern looking so having it on the counter for display sparks small conversation and a gives a fun luxury in home experience for my guests.

As easy as it gets to make espresso drinks.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let’s get the obvious out of the way. Perhaps you are like me, someone who is serious about their coffee, but not so enthusiastic about the ritual or the process. It is about getting to enjoy the end product as efficiently as possible. So much so that you often find yourself just stopping at a coffee shop because you’d rather pay someone else to do the work instead of going to the effort of making it yourself. In that case, this is not just a coffee machine, it is an investment.
The KitchenAid Fully Automatic Espresso Machine KF8 is as easy as a bean-to-cup system gets. You put your beans of choice in the hopper, use the touch screen to pick what drink you want it to make, and press start. It grinds, tamps, brews and dispenses, allowing you to customize each setting or selecting from the wide array of pre-programmed ones. Or, optionally, you can use pre-ground coffee or the external milk frother which works well with regular milk as well as plant-based options. After each use, it automatically runs a self-cleaning cycle to make sure that all the lines remain clean. It really is that easy. My coffee has never tasted so good and perfectly customized to my taste. The machine has the capability of setting different profiles for different members of your household, so you can save your customizations so you always get a perfectly repeatable product. The maintenance is minimal, wiping down the stainless exterior after each use and maybe rinsing the milk bin if you used that. Emptying the drip tray and coffee grounds every few days.
Not to say that the machine couldn’t be improved. I find the drip tray to be too small. Every cleaning cycle leaves some remnants in the tray, even when you put a waste cup under the spout, so it tends to fill up fast. It is nice that the coffee grounds go into a separate waste bin so I can save the perfect little pucks for my compost. I would like some place on board to store things like the coffee grounds scoop and the milk frothing hose. I’d also like a larger water reservoir. But I guess choices had to be made to keep the size of the machine reasonable. As is, it is the largest coffee maker I have ever used, but it still takes up less space on my counter than my old grinder, tamper, brewer, and other tools. And I am far more inclined to use it because of the automation involved, the lack of having to spend almost more time cleaning up after myself as I spent brewing, and above all, the great coffee.
I received this KitchenAid Fully Automatic Espresso Machine KF8 from KitchenAid and Influenster for my honest review.
