I travelled across canada still needing to work everyday and my job requires me to have 2 screens all the time (to keep my sanity!) This extra screen has done the trick! Does what I need

Good monitor for the price. Powered by usb-c, which is super useful. Not the best monitor and is very light, made of plastic, could be brighter, but for my purposes it gets the job done. I like that it has a carry case. Realistically it's a 3-star monitor, but I'm giving it 5 because it does what it says on the box and isn't trying to say it's better than it is. If you need a little extra monitor for your laptop and aren't going to use it outside, this will be fine.

Fits my needs for an additional display monitor

Very easy set up, compact, extremely light and portable. Has a zippered carry case, including one for the detachable arm on the back. So far no complaints. Been using it for a week or more now. Fits in my backpack along with my Asus Vivabook laptop. Not heavy to carry.

Excellent Emergency Replacement

My purchased monitor did not come in before my trip so I purchased this ASUS laptop monitor and it worked well. It plugged and Played well, colour was bright and I could easily adjust the screen dimensions through my laptop. Price was good for the high quality.

Beware of this screen

This monitor requires a braided cable and does not work with normal cables. The cable that is supplied is too short and a longer replacement is hard to find (and expensive). This is another way for ASUS and AOC to dig into a customer's pocket. Now that UBS-C has been mandated by law, the tech companies have to look for new ways to extract money without adding any value.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
