Great phone but Spen remote functions are gone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoyed being able to use S Pen as a remote button to take photos. It comes in handy when I travel but pretty disappointed that that feature is gone in S25 Ultra. Other features are amazing though.

Overall an excellent phone

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I upgraded to the Galaxy S25 Ultra from the Galaxy S23 Ultra and I have been very pleased with it. I use it for everything from the web, streaming audio and video, occasional gaming, and some productivity tasks.
Some of the pros:
- Better display quality
- Better audio quality (the speakers are impressively loud for a phone)
- More Galaxy AI features
- The Snapdragon 8 Elite CPU is faster and apps are more responsive
- The phone frame and build seems sturdier to me
- The cameras take impressive photos; I especially like the space zoom

A couple of cons:
- The battery life is not especially great, seems about the same as my S23U (I was expecting an improvement)
- The anti-reflective coating has worn off in a couple of places on the screen after only a couple of months, and makes it seem like there are a couple of smudges that I can't wipe off. It's annoying, but only visible when the screen is dark, so overall not a huge deal

This is my 4th Galaxy phone (I've had the S20 Ultra, S22 Ultra, S23 Ultra, and now this one, and I am very pleased with it so far. Would definitely recommend.

Battery life feels smarter too, charging overnight in a way that protects long-term health. The camera system is incredible, but it’s the AI magic that makes it shine: night shots are bright without looking fake, portraits are natural, and generative editing has saved group photos where someone blinked or let me erase clutter in the background instantly. Productivity feels effortless—voice notes transcribe automatically, Samsung Notes creates neat summaries, and Circle to Search has become second nature. Even texting feels faster with predictive AI typing and spot-on voice dictation. The S Pen is more useful now with AI handwriting recognition that cleans up my scribbles instantly. What I love most is that none of this feels gimmicky—the phone just adapts to me, helping quietly in the background. The quality of pictures is amazing! Even when zooming in you get great pictures. The storage is great for all the pictures I have and downloads. My children have games they like to play and have and dont have any problems.
I love my galaxy S25 ultra and would recommend to anybody!
