Issues with Base/Holder...Broke while opening

We opened the product and as we took it out all of the weights all dropped and broke the base/holder. It was set at the 52.5 weight. It should not have done that and it is alarming. I filed a ticket online and I have not heard. From anyone now and it's been over two weeks.
