Great idea, but needs improvements on debris collection

I bought this a few months ago and at first I loved it. But, as time went on I found I must clean out a clogged debris duct after every cleaning. Dirt never makes it to the bag and it makes a mess when cleaning, so much so that I have to get a vacuum to clean a vacuum. It is absolutely annoying.

So far this has been an amazing full service robot vacuum. The navigation and app are among the best in the industry, the rotating mops clean well, the dirt pickup is great, and it resists most hair tangles due the to all rubber brush. Highly recommend the Roborock Q Revo.

The Roborock Q Revo Pro is a lifesaver. Keeping up with household cleaning on top of everything else can be overwhelming, but this device alleviates much of that pressure. The Q Revo makes it effortless to keep my wood floors pristine and handles my dachshund’s hair like a champ.
The new edge mopping feature is a game changer. It cleans right up to the edges of cabinets and reaches places other mopping vacuums can’t. It has minimized my need for manual mopping, and its intelligent dirt detection cleans up muddy paw prints with ease. The mapping and obstacle avoidance are also excellent; I’ve seen the Q Revo Pro avoid my dog’s toys and shoes left out.
The lifting mop pads are another fantastic feature. The Q Revo Pro can cross carpets, mop, and vacuum all in one cycle, making it much more efficient than older models that required two cycles. For areas you don’t want the vacuum to go, the app is fully customizable. You can add specific clean cycles, no-go zones, and divide specific rooms. As an added bonus, Roborock has an Alexa skill for controlling the robot.
Overall, the Roborock Q Revo Pro is well worth the money simply for the time it saves me. It truly is a set it and forget it device with a multifunction dock that loads water and empties the vacuum.
If you’re on the fence, get it! You won’t regret it!

Been using the Q revo for a month now and love it. It's made having to clean my hard floors on a daily basis, so much easier.
The only complaint is that if you pause the cleaning to wash the mop or refill the water tank, there is no option to continue with the cleaning you were just doing since where the robot left off on the map disappears. You have to then place the robot back on the map you were on and do a selective room cleaning.

Another Hit from Roborock

I have been a Roborock customer for the last 4 years and this is my 4th Roborock model in so many years. I tried other products including a couple of Roomba models in the last few years but eventually landed up returning them. Apart from the looks, functionality and the price point, one of the winning features that sets Roborock apart from the competition is the software. It is way more functional and reliable than the competition. This is my first Roborock with the mopping function and I like it. I have a high pile carpet in most of the bedrooms and hard floor in living room and the kitchen. I was worried about wet mop being dragged across the carpet but I can set it up to first vacuum the entire house and than mop only the hard floors. That way I don't have to worry about carpet getting wet. This model has the capability to lift the mop up and that should work well for the low and medium pile carpet. Another thing which pleasantly surprised me about this model was how low the noise is during vacuuming though it has higher suction power. Even the auto emptying noise is lower as compared to the previous model. Map detection is much more detailed where it clearly identifies the carpet and hard floors and it learns over time if there are any changes in the layout. Another nice feature is that if it gets stuck at a place repeatedly it can automatically set no go zone, solving a major annoyance. There is only one thing I will wish to change and that will be a little better battery life. It does well to clean around 800 sqft in a single charge and requires a recharge to do the rest, though it does well to restart where it left. Overall this is another winner from Roborock.

Absolutely amazing! Technology has improved so much since we purchased a "dumb" bot in 2020. We have 3 kids and two shepherds, so we have very little time and a lot of hair. The qrevo pro runs at midnight and does a wonderful job and leaves us with one less chore to do in a very busy household.

Many years ago, we purchased the S6. The S6 that is still working great, past its days as technology evolved. So decided to get another. Did not shop brands due to the reliability that we experienced before, but did shop the various Roborock models. The Qrevo slim was the final. This robot arrived well packaged (typical of the company), set up was a breeze as we have (my wife and myself) have the app, and we followed the very simple set up and added the slim. Let charge for couple of hours and let it loose mapping the house. When done. I used the app to divide the rooms and rename them. Advice: click save after each division, and click save after each room renaming. If you mis type: it will save whatever you typed in its database and you may run out of names. If that happened, just find the list of names and delete whatever isn’t needed. That said. We got hard floors with few rugs. Decided to just avoid rugs all together as they aren’t large and not worth extra effort and go over those manually. Use it most often by room name. 2-3 rooms each day. To be honest, never seen this floor as clean as it is and we always clean them and used the older s6. We do use the mop and vac at the same time all the time. I cannot recommend it enough. Be patient. Take your time customizing your map and this robot becomes your best friend.

I bought this to replace a Irobot J9+, this comically blows IRobot out of the water!! This is 100% better than the iRobot.
