Lightweight and effective

I purchased this after receiving severe ice storm damage. Product arrived fast, easy to assemble, no tools needed (be sure to purchase chain lube separately).
For use, this unit is lightweight and easy to handle when stretching to make cuts. I mostly use this with 1" - 5" average diameter limbs with ease. The battery that came with it is a 2ah and holds it's charge well. After the storm I used it everyday for a week with an average cut time of 1.5 to 2 hours daily and no extra charging was needed (just charged at the end of the day for the next day's use).

I have 4 other greenworks products in the 60v category and was upset there isn’t a 60v polesaw, but after using this product I realize one end would be much heavier given the length and I am impressed with the power with this being 24v.

You need to pay attention to the chain to make sure it is tightened satisfactorily. Each time after I have used it, the chain needs tightening. Overall, it is a good piece of equipment. Glad I made the purchase.

Great Until do it yourself recall

Am a 72 yr old woman who thought this chainsaw would be great, & has been ‘til I got the recall ! “Under certain circumstances it can remain ON! Called, & was told they will ship the part to repair it to me- like my car manufacturer telling me “ Your accelerator “may stick , but we’ ll send you the part to repair it. Have to have part shipped to a repair place 40 some miles away, wait for part & repair, meanwhile the saw is useless.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
