Picked this up about a month ago. Cut the grass 2 times about .25 acre yard and first time cut the whole yard. Second time the batteries died about 3/4 the way through.
Only takes about a half hour to cut the whole yard. Not sure if i got old/defective batteries. Going to have to see how their customer service is. Will update with results.

We are sorry to hear that you were not completely satisfied with the run time of this battery. The run time varies depending on the tool that it is being used in but also the load acting against the unit while in use.
For best results users should:
1) Mow when the grass is dry.
2) Mow in the morning or late afternoon to reduce the heat stress on the newly cut grass.
3) Alternate mowing patterns each time you mow. As grass develops a grain based on your cutting direction it will lean towards the direction of your mowing path. Changing the pattern allows better vertical growth and helps to keep the cut neater.
4) Consider mulching. To mulch, remove the bag and insert the mulch plug into the rear of the unit. This will leave the clippings on the lawn allowing the nutrients and nitrogen contained within them to return to the soil and allow the remaining grass to recycle them (always discharge the mulch towards a previously cut area to prevent your mower from bogging down).
5) Always keep in mind what conditions your variety of grass prefers. If your grass prefers cooler climates, reduce the frequency with which you mow and increase the cutting height of your mower during hot seasons to compensate for the reduced growth rate these varieties may experience in this type of weather.

Amazing lawnmover

I bought this lawnmower about 6 weeks ago and have mowed my lawn a few times. It does an amazing job that I couldn't tell the difference between it and a gas powered. The best part was that I didn't have to have gas, oil or anything and could just plug it in, charge it and off I go. It does only last about an hour or so, but that works for me.
I would recommend this to a friend!

WOW!!!! I can mow my own Yard again!!!
In 2011 at age 58 I had my first Stroke. Seven years later a second Stroke. This time Id given up on Mowing my yard ever again. Couldn't even pull my gas lawnmower to start it, much less mess with gasoline and oil.
Yard Service got TOO Expensive. Desperate to try something, I purchased my Greenworks Mower. Man I was totally surprised!! It cuts through Tall grass like butter. The bagger works flawlessly, leaving No grass behind.
It's Soooo light weight and easy to handle. For a two time stroke Survivor, that's saying a LOT!!! My wife and I can't afford to pay Yard Services. This was a Godsend.

Absolutely amazing machine no gas no oil just drop your batteries in and off you go i give this a 4 out of five stars my only complaint is battery life after the first mow I noticed battery life decreased if you have a large area to cover might want to invest in extra batteries other than that it's perfect
