This mower is perfect. The lighter weight of it allows me, as an older woman to still mow my own lawn. But it's not too light. If feels solid and strong and I expect it to last a long time. The batteries provide enough power to mow my lot sized lawn. I was so impressed with the design I purchased a Green Power weed eater. I purchased it on line and the price was much lower than in the stores.
Easy to use. I love it! If you’re on the fence, but it. You will not be disappointed. I’m going to purchase more Greenworks yard tools. The batteries are interchangeable with one another, that’s a plus.
Junk bateries for all equipment dont last i gave mine away junk
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello Sbroomall28,
We are so sorry to learn that this lawn mower did not meet your needs, and that you felt throwing it out was your best option! Had you contacted our Customer Care, they would have been more than happy to assist with the warranty claims process. If you are still in possession of the batteries here are a few troubleshooting suggestions to check out. 1) When the battery is inserted, the light should begin flashing green to indicate the battery is charging. If this light is not igniting or is flashing red, this may indicate an issue and we would be interested in hearing more about this. If the light simply goes solid red, try removing the battery and unplugging the charger for about 10 minutes and place them both indoors in a room temperature setting, as this might indicate the battery is at the incorrect temperature to be charged. 2) Ensure that the battery has been fully inserted into the charger. Sometimes this requires a firm push into place to make sure that it has been properly seated. 3) Try resetting the charger. To do this, simply unplug it for approximately 10 minutes and then plug it back in and try reinserting the battery. If the charger has been plugged in for extended periods of time, this can sometimes cause the charger to malfunction. As it is, we genuinely hope that this experience does not turn you away from Greenworks for good we would like to hear more about your experience to see how we can do better in the future. Please give our Customer Care team a call at 1-888-909-6757 (1-888-90WORKS). Thank you for your feedback!
I bought this about 1-2 months ago. The advertisement says it would last 45 minutes and can easily mow half acre, but not for me. My lawn isn't even half acre big, but the batteries would die even before 90% of my lawn is mowed. I tried different ways to see if I could finish the lawn at one charge, never successful. Bagging option is also not good. The mower kept dying so I gave up on it and just did side discharge. Charging would take about 2 hours or so.

Hello KKAC,
Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that you are dissatisfied with the run time of this battery when used in this lawn mower. It is important to adjust your mowing techniques to make the most out of the battery life! This unit is advertised as running up to 45 minutes, but it goes without saying that that the harder the unit works, the quicker the battery drains. Here are a few mowing tips to help achieve the optimal run time. 1) When cutting thick grass, reduce walking speed in order to allow for a more effective cut and a proper discharge of the clippings. 2) Only mow 1/3 of the total grass length at a time - no more. For a healthy lawn, always cut off one-third or less of the total length of the grass. The average lawn should be approximately 1 1/2 to 2” (3.8 to 5 cm) long during cool months, and between 2" to 3 1/4" (5 cm to 8.3 cm) long during hot months. 3) Mow when the grass is dry. As this is an electric unit, mowing wet/damp grass is a safety issue. However, ensuring the grass is dry will also help the grass cut cleanly and discharge appropriately. Wet/damp grass carries more weight and will mostly stick to the blade/motor shaft and will not appropriately discharge or cut easily. 4) Make sure the battery is cool before use. When the battery will not be in use, we suggest storing it indoors, in a cool dry area - away from direct sunlight. Leave the charger unplugged and the battery disconnected from the charger unless it needs charging. We hope these tips will help! If not, we would be happy to investigate to see whether your run time would be considered average; please contact Greenworks at 1-888-909-6757 (1-888-90WORKS). All we ask that you have access to the unit so that we can complete troubleshooting with you and gather necessary unit information.
Mower runs great, slows a bit in tall grass. Great not having to deal with cords. Battery charger indicator lights never worked!

I have found my 48V brushless lawnmower to exceed my expectations. I use it for a small area in my backyard that is hard to access from the front yard. I have used it with and without the bagger and have been impressed by its ability to cut both tall and no so tall grass. Its light weight is a real plus when mowing a rather steep hill and I love not having the noise, odor or spillage problems of fossil fuels not to mention the cost savings.
Bought this combo 3 weeks ago and mower is very lightweight and mows the small lawn perfect. Drill works perfect also, and is easy to handle and powerful.
