Replaced one lost made in the 90's. Plastic is much softer and thinner, and the cooler is less sturdy than they used to be. Does not hold the cold like the old on either.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great for day trips & work

I ordered 3 of these. Our teenage boys have not destroyed them and they have taken a tumble off the back of the vehicle during off roading.
We each keep them in our vehicles because we take day trips hiking, lake, etc. they are small but big enough for a small snack for two and several soda cans.
We also use it by putting a few 16 oz waters in & placing it in the jetski compartment. Everything stays cold so far all day with No issues. We have not used them for multiple days so I have no idea how many days things will stay cold.
I use it for work. I have a two hour commute both ways, so I toss a couple drinks, lunch, & snack for the ride home.
It fits easily in the floor board of my back seat.
No complaints here.
