Recently purchased for my new apartment. Just graduated from college and wanted a block because I was tired of using the assorted knives I used while in school.
This block set is perfect. Has everything I need to work in the kitchen.
Love the one piece design, which makes it durable, and gives the knives a really good weight and feel. The knives are forged which are superior to a stamped knife, and help balance the knife and protect my finger from the edge.
Still learning how to properly use the honing steel, but I am glad it was included in the set, so that I can maintain the edge, and keep them nice and sharp.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Very Sharp!

I've used the paring knife and 7" Santoku knife so far.
I love how easily they slice through things. You need to take care. I sliced my fingernail right off!!
I can't wait to cook my next big meal and try out the chefs knife!
