I bought this item a few months ago to record speeches and personal data. It works amazingly well, even in a pocket or a couple of feet away. Recording is voice activated, so it won't record silence, which saves memory and allows for faster transcription. There is also a USB port which lets me download information to the computer without any trouble.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I've been using digital voice recorders for 25 years so I can say with some confidence that the GPX Digital Voice Recorder is a great little tool. Is versatile and reliable. I am an author so for me this is an invaluable device. I've given each of my grandchildren one and they take them to school with them and they tell me it not only helps them keep great notes but it gives them more time overall which enriches their educational experiences which makes me very happy.
