I had been using an older style trimmer, and I really like the dial in length feature versus changing out the comb length and I like the vacuum feature.
I've enjoyed this product from day one. (About 3 months). The easy measuring device attached to the shaver makes it so easy to keep the same length of my beard without worry. The vacuum, build into the shaver cleans up 95% of all the shavings.. If I put it on power boost (a bit noisy) I'm sure it would take it all. The only negative I can see is the cleaning.. It would be perfect if it was made waterproof, then it would be perfect for sure. Instead the shaving collect in a spot where it is a bit of a job to clean properly. I would recommend this product to anyone.
Pros: ease of use, vacumm collect just about all the shavings, very llong battery life, can't make a mistake in length of cut, tottaly charges in an hour
Cons: not waterproof, somewhat dificult to clean the shavings 100%
not satisfied by the function and it do not have enough power to cut and vacuum the hair

This machine does not have all those functions and features as the previous product.
The Blade provided in the machine is not sharp enough to do the job. It looks like old blade been packed.
I have been using Philips products for so many years, and had confidence in it, but this time paid higher price and o not worth it. Sorry to say.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I didn't get a whole lot of use out of this razor. On my fifth use it just quit, wouldn't work with or without the cord. I didn't keep my receipt so i guess i'm out.
I purchased this model because it was the same as a previous model I had used for several years & was happy with. The new model works about the same but the value of the entire package was disappointing. The last one came with a wide & narrow blade, a better cleaning brush & a fabric case for transporting. The new model has been cheapened up by not including the same things which brought convenience & portability to the razor. The older models plastic collection case was totally removeable making it more convenient to empty while the new one is hinged & less convenient to empty with a better chance of breakage. The dial height adjuster, battery life indicator & height indicator is better on the new model.
Pros: battery life indicator, dial height adguster, lit height indicator
Cons: trimmer collection case, no carrying case, no narrower blade
In my opinion, this is the best beard trimmer on the market.

I like the fact this generation of beard trimmer is light weight and more compact than the prior version. It has a lighted readout to indicate what the setting is in millimeters. It's very effective at providing a closely trimmed beard. The only feature I don't care for is the "door" to the beard vacuum/collection area that accumulates the beard hair. I fear one of these days it will break as I'm cleaning out the beard hair. I would've preferred a removable tray like the prior generation had.
Like other Phillips products #ie Sonicare# the beard trimmer is the best designed product on the market. for it's application/use.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Excellent product for the "stubble look". Works great with and without guide comb. Digital display is cool.
I bought this vacuum beard trimmer to replace an earlier Philips model that I have been using for about eight years. This newer model has better power, longer battery life, and greater suction than my old model and works perfectly for me. I love it...
