I had a predecessor to this trimmer and finally the battery failed to accept a charge. I decided to get this model even though I considered other brands. I’m glad I did as this one is greatly improved. My only concern is the durability of the hinged access door for cleaning the stubble trap.
Pros: long life of charge, easy to adjust setting
Cons: hinged door for cleaning trap seems flimsy.

I have used Philips beard trimmers for years and this is one of the best ones yet. I like the new charge indicator that lets you know how much it has charged, don't have to guess any more. I have only 2 minor complaints: I like the old removable stubble collector compared to the swing-out trap door on this model and the length gauge changed from just numbers to mm, I had to experiment to get the same look of my beard.
Pros: charge level indicator
Cons: stubble collector mechanization

A lot less mess

No trimmer is going to give you 100% mess free results. The QT4070 Pro is pretty close though. And with the multi-position stubble comb it doesn't get any easier for that perfect trim.
Pros: ease of use, easy to clean, corded or cordless

I have loved this razor since the day I got it. Now I really love my new razor even more. I thought it looked funny at first, but after my first use I realized somebody did a good job in the new design of it. It charges fast, got L.E.D read out for us hard to see people and no mess. I have been worried about the micro filter stopping up, but it hasn't happened yet. I am so happy Phillips honored the warranty and replaced my old razor, I thought I would not recieve another Phillips razor, I thought I was out after it had broke, I came home one day and my girlfriend handed me my new one and told me it came in the mail, boy was I surprised. I have always told everyone about my no mess razor and how cool it was. Now I can keep on telling everyone about it and to get them one also. I have always wore a beard and this razor keeps it in check. The old attachements fit it as well so I can keep up with my mustache. I can tell Phillips is always looking to improve there products and have great warranties. Ya'll are the best, thanks Phillips!
Pros: it works like a champ, it realy keeps you from making a mess, easy to clean razor, cool adjustment for lenth, easier to reassemble, no more slide thing for vacuum
Cons: it didnt come with all the attachments, no pouch to store it, i did like the charger on the other one though, charger not as compact as old one for storeage

This is my second Phillips vacuum beard trimmer, and I am very pleased with this product. I like the improved turbo power boost-it really seems to help get more of the beard hairs than my previous trimmer. I also like the bright display-it is easy to see the length settings
Pros: improved vacuum, easy to read display
Cons: flimsy door on hair removal chamber

This is a product i have been looking for. it has numerous settings that satisfy many uses and personal tastes for mustache and beard trimming. it is comfortable to use, lightweight but durable. no tearing or pulling, just a nice smooth trim. holds a charge well and the container is good for many light trimmings and one to two heavy trimmings although it is easy to empty which i do after each trim.
