Two failed even after purchasing new batteries

I bought one and the battery failed. I replaced the battery and it worked for a week. I was sure it was turned off each time. I then bought a second and had the same thing happen again. So I lost the cost of the thermometer and the extra batteries.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Defective!

It worked great at first, but like many others have reported, the display eventually failed. I’m only able to see partial numbers now.

Can't Grill without it!

I never grill without a thermometer and was using a standard style, but wanted an instant read digital one, and as I trust Weber quality and thought this was a good value I decided to try it and was not disappointed. Fast, accurate read every time and all the items grilled so far have been perfectly cooked. I am VERY satisfied!

Display Went Wonky

We have two 6750 thermometers. I use them both for grilling. I am exceptionally careful to not immerse thermometer when cleaning or letting it get overheated. After a few uses this display fritzed out. Replaced the battery, same display. Unsatisfied.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Using both levels on a WSM smoker, the upper level is accessible from the top, but the lover lever is only accessible to check the temperature through the side access door. A lanyard on this thermometer would be a GREAT ADDITION, so I wouldn't accidentally drop the thermometer into the burning charcoal underneath! Just a thought.

Don't buy only work twice for me

Tried it out used it twice and now it just says HH and I've changed the battery. Waste of money if you ask me.

Great price, but does not work.

I have used this several times, and unlike all the other Weber products I have this thing is no good. The readings are all over the place, and have been up to 30 degrees off. My silly palm method is more accurate. Love you Weber, but recommend ditching this thing or upgrading to a better one and charging more for one that actually works.

Good thermometer until it stopped working

I bought this back in July 2018 and worked well until it just stopped displaying anything. I grill on average twice a week and found the temperature readings to be fairly within range. I thought it was the battery but after replacing the battery 2x it still didn't work
