My screen is unreadable and the characters are all out of whack. I replaced the battery, same result.

Worked great the first and only time it turned on

Happy with the item out of the box, however as others have suggested the longevity of the product is questionable. After using once and making sure to clean it as directed, I went to use it again a couple days later and the display turns on for less than a second and goes blank. This is very disappointing for the weber name as this does not seem to work for many.

Good, but stopped working when battery replaced

I bought this product 2-3 years ago and it worked very well for that time. Recently, the display started to fade and then it eventually stopped working altogether. I replaced the battery, and now the display works fine, but the temperature is completely wrong. Room temperature is displaying as below zero. Is there something I need to do to reset it?
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this about two months ago. Worked great until the screen started to malfunction. The 10's column is no longer giving a full read out as half the number is no longer there.

Simple, fast and accurate

We bought one several years ago and it has held up well. Fast and accurate, We use it as our benchmark when checking meat temperatures.
