Don't Buy It !

I bought it two weeks ago, used it twice and the display does not work. Cannot get the battery screw to open without stripping and figured its not worth the time and effort to wait for a battery to arrive. Disappointed that Weber would put their name on this.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The probe is very thin, instant read out great to ensure perfection for weekend chefs. Purchased another one to gift.

Absolute garbage

Don’t waste your money. After only a few uses the digital screen is illegible. I thought it may be a battery issue so I replaced the current battery and that changed nothing. See my picture for the issue. I’d like a new one!

Not worth it!

I bought this thermometer to go with my great Weber kettle bbq but it has failed terribly. It reads LL.L on the screen and even after changing the battery it still doesn’t work. I’m very disappointed!

impossible battery compartment

The thermometer seems to work fine. However, in order to even start using it, we had to open the battery compartment to remove the plastic barrier. We happened to have a tool that worked, but the screw is soooooo tiny, I wonder how many people have a tool that small. I'm hoping it works for a long, long time before we have to change the battery. I think this is a very poor design. The Weber instant read we had previously was much better
