This is not worth it. Just spend the money and getting something of a better quality. Thank God it was only in the middle of cooking steak. Imagine if I were making a turkey.
I purchased a Weber grill recently along with the instant read thermometer. Worked for awhile but stopped working abruptly, replaced the battery and still does not work. I love my Weber grill but not the instant read thermometer.
I bought this at the beginning of the summer to bring camping.. we loved it so much! Small and easy and worked great. However I went to use it yesterday and nothing would work. It wouldn’t power on. Changed the battery even though we have only had it for about 3 months.. still didn’t work. It was pretty disappointing that it wouldn’t do anything.
I bought this a couple of months ago and I don’t think this ever give me the right temperature, I worked in many restaurants and I know that in order to calibrate it you need to put it in water with ice. Well I’ve done it many times and the lowest temperature that I’ve seen it’s 40. Not accurate at all
Since purchasing this product just 2 weeks ago, I've used it twice to measure the tempature of Chicken and Steak. Both occurences resulted in 10-15 degree difference (on the higher side) between this product and 2 professional thermomether that cost twice as much. I guess you get what you pay for. Not what I expected from Weber.
Do not get water anywhere near this thermometer. The battery compartment pops open versus screwing tight with a seal. Therefore, it is highly susceptible to getting water in it. I've had several of these with the same issue. Weber can and should do a lot better.
I bought this 5 weeks ago and it worked great. Went to use it today and it didn’t work. Changed the battery and still won’t work. Can’t find the receipt to take it back to get a replacement. I’m not very happy
