Stopped working after a few months

I bought this thermometer for grilling. When it worked, it was great. However, after only about 7 or 8 uses, the display reads HH. I thought perhaps the battery was low from sitting on the shelf, so I ran out and bought a new battery, put it in and it still reads HH. Apparently, now that I read the reviews, many folks are having this problem. Weber is known for its quality, so I am confused on this product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Stopped Working

I had one of these and used it for several months before the screen stopped working. I changed batteries and it still did not work. I thought someone may have put it underwater so I bought a new one. I used it once and it worked, the second time I attemted to use the screen was no longer working. I did not let anyone clean this except me and I know it did not get wet.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

bought one when we bought our grill last year; loved it til it stopped working about 3 months later. Bought another, thinking this was a fluke as Weber products are so good, but this one lasted only about 2 months. tried changing battery but still no go....

I had asked for this product as a Christmas gift last year. My daughter gave it to me and I was thrilled. I used it about four times and then it died. I change the battery on it and still it doesn’t turn on.

Use it one time, now its dead. I replaced the battery but still dead, won't turn on. Looks like its bad quality, really weber, was expecting better.

I purchased the thermometer and the first time I went to use it the screen showed half numbers and was un readable. I do not recommend this product

Bought this weber thinking it would be quality. It worked twice and now will not change from 165. Very frustrating as we are huge webers fans,

Bought it, used it once or twice, busted it out for Thanksgiving and it does not function after changing batteries. One more trip to the store! You get what you pay for I suppose
