Worked well for about 6 month

Bought this about 6 months ago, was ok but stopped working and after two battery changes the screen won't come on. Disappointing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Poor quality

Stopped working after only a few uses. Replaced the battery but now only shows LL.L on the display. Tried putting the tip in hot water to raise the temperature but still not working. Avoid!

Screen malfunction

I have used this thermometer about 4 times. It was working great and accurate. Went to use it again and the readings on the screen are not legible. It has been kept in the house in a cabinet between uses. (controlled temperature environment). I was shocked that the display was faulted.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not even a full use and broke already

I got this thermometer 3 days ago and just at the time I started cooking a stake and tried to test the thermometer, it showed the temperature of the meat and just right after that, I went to HH

Thermometer showing HH

I bought the thermometer because I trusted the Weber name. I thought it represented quality. I used it for about a year, then the ‘HH’ appeared. Now it’s dead. Very disappointed in Weber and will look at other models of grills and accessories whenever I need anything.

I purchased this with a new Weber Genesis II SS Grill. I used it for the first time today and did not work reading 150 after Tomahawk steak on grill for 10 mins. indirect heat. So I had to guess and cut the rest of these so happy that it ruined a special Birthday Dinner for my daughter. I thought being grill company products would work, NEVER AGAIN !

Worked great when it worked, but after using for 2 months, no screen display. Tried new battery, no improvement. Weber quality is evident in grill, accessories (light, tools, cover) but not with this little thermometer.

Reads temps well but battery change not easy

I've had this for about 2 years and it has typically worked well until the battery died on it last month. The battery cover is not coming off with 'delicate prying.' I think there are better products out there.
