We used this a handful of times. Always used to specifications. Always hand washed and never submerged. Half the screen went out and it no longer works. Total waste of money.

I love Weber grills so I figured this thermometer with the Weber name would be good. Oops. Nope! The thermometer failed after about 2 or 3 uses. I am trying to figure out where I bought it so I can request a refund.

Bought this thermometer 2 months ago and only used it for 4 cooks on my pellet stove. Went to use it today and no display screen. After 4 uses should not have to invest in a battery.

Hi, We are sorry you are having trouble with the thermometer. We have reached out to you via email to help you troubleshoot. Thank you!
I used this thermometer for about 6 months, almost weekly without a problem. One evening I stuck the thermometer in one last time to see if chicken was ready, almost simultaneously; I heard a clinking sound, the display did not light up (I pulled out the thermometer to check it), there were sparks and flames in the grill. When I looked at the thermometer, I noticed the battery cover was off and the battery was gone. After turning off the grill, I found the battery and melted cover in the grill.
