Only Good For 1 Battery Life

I bought this about one year ago. It worked great until the battery (coin type) died. I tried 2 new batteries in it with no luck - it would not switch “on”.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great at first

I used mine for less than a year. It drains batteries quickly then stopped working all together. But it was nice when it worked.

Really disappointed :(

I bought my Weber digital thermometer and used it maybe 4 or 5 times max before the battery died, or so I thought. I ordered a replacement battery which brought the thermometer back to life until after about 1 use when the screen started only partially showing numbers before going completely blank. Tried another replacement battery but no luck. Doesn't seem like that intricate of a gadget that it should perform so poorly. Sad that a simple tool like this has me reconsidering the quality of Weber as a whole.

dropped it into a kettle of 214 degree maple syrup and when I fished it out it still showed correct temp. with no fogged window! Yay!
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this at least a year ago and we used it on average 3 times a month. LOVED IT! Then only half the numbers started showing up and replaced the battery and now it doesn't even turn on.

I bought this 5 months ago and we used it on average 3 times a week. LOVED IT! Then only half the numbers started showing up and replaced the battery and still only shows partial screen. Picture attached
