Good dark coffee, but not great

With my most recent order, I thought I'd give it a try. My normal go-to dark coffees are Black Tiger and Dark Magic, my favorite is Peet's Major Dickason blend, depending on the price at the time. The flavor of Columbia Huila isn't bad. It's a good coffee and if it were served at a restaurant, I'd probably be impressed. For something specifically for me though, it feels a little toned down. It has a very smooth mouthfeel that's not greasy, but sort of on that side of it. If you're a fan of the Big Easy Bold, you may well like this better. I like a coffee that's a little rougher though, I already know I like dark, bold, or even extra bold coffee, so you don't have to be afraid of offending me with a dark roasted flavor. Columbia Huila is good, but it's like a rock song from a car commercial, it's not bad, but neither is it going to shock your parents.
Pros: Pleasing Aroma, Not Bitter, Smooth Taste
Cons: Not Enough Flavor

Full flavored and fabulous, as a major coffee drinker I can honestly say " best cup" yet. You can tell from the aroma that you are in for a treat. I am reordering today!

Has a unique, strong, flavor, kind of a smoky and sweet taste with a nice balance of bitterness and smoothness.

A good dark roast

It is a good cup of coffee. Not bitter like some darker roasts. This is my morning coffee.
Pros: Balanced Acidity, Pleasing Aroma, Pleasing Roast, Smooth Taste, Not Bitter
