I chose the OmniBook because I wanted a small, lightweight laptop with enough storage that I could keep all my files saved in my laptop as well as in the cloud...so I can access them when I'm offline. This is one of the few laptops that meets those criteria. So far it's working very well. It's similar enough to my old HP Omni that I quickly felt comfortable with it. I have only 3 minor gripes. First, it was available (in stock) only in charcoal gray, which may be the ugliest color known to humankind. I still miss my blue Pavilion, and I'd even rather have my white Omni. Second, the keyboard does not have a backlighting option--a problem if you use your laptop in low-light conditions. Finally, the set-up instructions are minimal. Fortunately I've developed my own checklist over the years. I know a lot of set-up instructions depend on what apps you use, but there should at least be something to the effect of "keep running Windows Update until it tells you there are no more updates," how to get started connecting your printer, etc.
